Here's a secret... photography wasn't my first love. *GASP* What?! I know, it's hard to believe. However, long before I picked up a camera I was sitting by my boombox listening to any and every CD I can find. Music has been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember and being as connected to it as possible was always a priority. I lived and breathed anything music related and it has helped me through some rough times in my life. So naturally, when I started figuring out how much I loved photography, my goal in life was to combine them both.
I'm serious y'all, my dream at one point was to shoot shows for Rolling Stone and be a famous rock photographer. While that dream has changed... drastically, I still jump at every opportunity to shoot shows. I'm going to be adding a lot more of my live work because it's super important to me and I am proud of a few of my shots!
Last weekend was my second year shooting the XL102 Chili Cook Off and just like the first year, it was a complete blast. I absolutely love XL102 and their staff because they just pour their blood, sweat, and tears into these events.
Here are a few shots from this year's CCO!
This year's lineup included:
The Hold Steady
A Day To Remember
Panic! At The Disco
