I met Lindsey in the photo pits of the XL102 Chili Cook Off, she was the only other female photographer and I was the newbie who had just moved to Richmond. Lindsey is a crazy talented photographer and I've had "photo-envy" (yes, that's a thing) forever. She's literally been on billboards and even a DVD cover?! How amazing is that? ANYWAYS, we became good friends and I always looked forward to shooting shows with her.
Fast forward about two years and I get a text from Lindsey saying she wants to book me for her wedding. It wasn't until later that I found out she had only been engaged for 20 minutes before texting me! How sweet is that? When I met them for their engagement session, I couldn't help but get 100x more excited for their big day. Why? Because they were different. They wanted FUN and silly pictures and it was such a breath of fresh air. These two are so fun to be around and I can't explain to you all how much of a difference that makes on camera.
Their wedding day is one that I can never begin to describe perfectly without you actually being there. It was magical. She took the Great Gatsby theme and put a slight rock and roll spin on it to create a wedding unlike any I have seen... and that includes on Pinterest. A VIP list of vendors worked together to transform an already amazing venue into an incredibly unique wedding experience.
For those of you who aren't familiar, The NorVA was voted by The Rolling Stone as the #1 Venue in America, so shooting a WEDDING there was going to be epic. I am so thankful to have been a part of this day and worked alongside Virginia Beach's best vendors.
Lindsey & Chris,
Thank you so so so much for letting me be a part of your beautiful day. I am so happy for you both and I had so much fun hanging out with your friends and family! I wish you the best of luck but I know you two won't need it ;)
