For those who haven’t already heard, this family is so near and dear to my heart. I have had the honor of shooting all three of the Jones’ weddings (two brothers and a sister.) Each wedding has been so beautiful and the people I have met have treated me like family. This wedding was a special one, one of those weddings that I looked forward to all year just to see the friends and family that I’ve come to know so well.
Kenisha and Alan were together at last year’s wedding for his brother and there were all rumors flying around that Alan was going to be ‘next’ to be married. Of course he was next! If you’ve ever had the honor of meeting these two, you know that they are so perfect for each other. Kenisha is such a ray of sunshine, I couldn’t get over how happy and how excited she was all morning! If she was nervous or stressed, you’d never know. Alan is the sweetest and kindest person I have ever met (although apparently Alex would disagree) ;) – Together they are just this dynamic duo of personality and I wish I had taken advantage of them living so close because I just loved spending time with them!
The Founders Inn is a stunning venue and it made for the perfect backdrop for the day! The ceremony took place just before golden hour, which gave us the most beautiful sunset ever for portraits! The reception was every bit as gorgeous as the rest of the day and boy, do the Jones’ know how to throw a party. Instead of a sparkler exit, they opted to do a candle lit exit with the remaining friends and family. It was so intimate and peaceful and the perfect start to their surprise honeymoon!
