Stacy & Austin have a special place in my heart. They both went to school in several different states but eventually moved to Mississippi just when we moved to Birmingham and these two drove TWO HOURS just to meet me in Alabama for their engagement session. I knew they would be easy going from there on out and boy was I right. These two were a DREAM to work with. Stacy even withheld their first dance until I had a chance to eat, I mean… how sweet is that!?
These two had the most perfect wedding at Braeloch in Vinton, VA and it all boiled down to the emotions. SO many people traveled near and far to be with them and it was a day full of smiles and happy tears, including my own! Austin and Stacy opted for a First Look (yay!) and it was so beautiful but he still teared up when she walked down the aisle! How can you not though, she was a stunning bride? You can tell the love these two have for each other is the real deal.
I have a love/hate relationship with the rain. It’s obviously a huge bummer and can make the wedding day a little more difficult with venue and location changes but it can also mean getting more creative and thinking differently. Which 9 times out of 10 leads to even better pictures than I could have ever hoped to deliver! This was certainly the case with Austin & Stacy’s big day. They had the most annoying little drizzle that only seemed to stop while we were already inside! However, we made it work and took advantage of the breaks in the rain while we could!
Congratulations you two, it was such an honor to be a part of this day and this chapter in your story. I am forever grateful for how optimistic and willing you two were to make anything work. TRUE DREAM CLIENTS for sure.
I wish you all nothing but the best in the future and I can’t wait to see what school you two end up at next haha
